How do I register?
- Enter a valid email (contact) address on the registration page
- Check your email inbox for a system generated email with your secure password
- Use your registered email and the secure password to enter the website
How do I create an eBay token?
- Select the link to create your eBay token, you will be forwarded to an eBay page
- On the secure eBay page, enter your eBay user ID and password to generate your eBay token
- (Note: we cannot display your watched items or place bids without an eBay token)

How do I place a bid or bids?
- In the My Watch List section, check the box alongside the auctions you wish to place a bid on.
- Click the Add to Bid List button, you will then see 'Auctions were successfully added to the bid list'
- Select the My Bid List section from the top set of buttons
- Use the check boxes for auctions you wish to bid on, enter your max (proxy) bid for each and click next
- Review the bid amounts shown in 'Your Bid' column, if OK click next (click back to edit)
- We then show if each bid was placed successfully or not
- (Note: we can only display auctions you have previously selected as 'watch this item')
How do I use your Countdown timer?
- Select a single auction that is about to end, and add to your Bid List
- Select My Bid List, and enter your proxy bid as normal and click next
- If the time left is 2 mins or less, the display will countdown in seconds, sychronised to eBay time
- Submit your bid at anytime left, 10 seconds left to be sure, 0 seconds left is too late!
- If you have an auction ending in 15 mins or less, and have just logged into AuctionTrax, then :
- You will be presented with a pop up, inviting you to use our single click to bid (and win) CountDown Timer
- (This is great for manual sniping - but don't leave it too late to win, 5 seconds left is good!)
How do I get my 1% cash back?
- Its automatic, we add to your profile 1% of a valid winning bid
- (A valid bid is a winning bid only when placed via the AuctionTrax website)
- Repayments to you are made on request via Paypal only, from the cashback balance shown
How do I get a cashback referral credit?
- To get an additional 25% cashback from a referral you have made
- The referred user needs to have registered from the link you provided them
- (Your unique referral link is viewable on the My Cashback page)
- On registration and valid winning bids, you will get 25% of their 1% cashback
- (Those users will still get a full 1% of a valid winning bid)
What does the Notification icon and column mean?
- AuctionTrax will send you a reminder email to notify you a watched auction is about to end
- In your settings section you can turn on or off ALL notifications
- In your settings you can set the time at which to notify you prior to auction end
- From your watched item list, clicking the Notify icon turns on or off notifications for that auction only
How can I add or remove items to my eBay watched items list?
- To add - check the box alongside each item search result - click the 'add to watch list' button
- To remove - check the box alongside an item from the place a bid page - click the 'remove' button
- Remember - we also provide advanced eBay search tools, making it easy to find items that interest you
How do I use your Affiliate Tools section?
- Firstly, you need to be a registered eBay Affiliate and have a Commission Junction account
- Next, you will need to upgrade to an AuctionTrax Premium member
- (The fee is US$50 per year/US$25 for 6 months for unlimited use of our Affiliate Tools)
- Enter your CampID (tracking code) in the Account Settings section
- Select the widget you want to create (you can use one or both)
- Enter the required information to create the search results, including a CustomID if required
- Generate and preview your widget, copy/paste the given HTML code to your blog or website
- Thats it, you now have your own eBay Affiliate tracked widget
Notes on editing saved SnapShots and SlideShows
- Each newly created SlideShow or SnapShot is referenced by the unique name you gave it 'at birth'
- To edit an existing SlideShow or Snapshot, simply select from My SlideShows or My SnapShots page
- Edit as required, and on save, this edits the original parameters of the SlideShow or SnapShot
- (Note: In this instance, no need to also update the HTML on your web pages)
- All options are editable except your CampID reference entered 'at birth'
- (Note : Edit your CampID in Account Settings, changes will apply to all SlideShow/SnapShots created)
- If you rename your edited SlideShow or Snapshot - this creates a NEW example
- (Note: In this instance you will need to edit your HTML on your web pages)
Is it really free, how do you make money, can I snipe with AuctionTrax?
- Yes, it is a free service (except for the eBay Affiliate tools section)!
- For each winning bid you place, eBay pay AuctionTrax a small affiliate commision
- (Note: only applicable if the eBay auction is viewed from an AuctionTrax link)
- For each new eBay account you create, eBay pay AuctionTrax a larger affiliate commision
- (Note: only applicable if the eBay account is created from an AuctionTrax link)
- Sniping (scheduled bidding) is currently not available, sorry.
- But - you can use our countdown timer and easily place a bid in the last seconds!
- (Note: at some time in the future, eBay may allow a scheduled bidding functionality)
